We were guided simply by Arksey and O’Malley’s methodological framework and applied this to the data of MEDLINE, PsycINFO, and Web of Science. The searches yielded 29 documents that featured the execution of VR in healthcare settings. Many identified boundaries, facilitators, and recommendations created from studies that evaluated a current VR implementation method. This constraint highlights the need for further study on the the use of VR into health care practice and just how this could be achieved.
